Villa eyeing Akpom

Aston Villa are the latest Championship side to show an interest in signing Arsenalstriker Chuba Akpom on loan.
The 21-year-old has failed to break into Arsene Wenger’s first team this season and has played just 83 minutes of senior football since the summer, report theBirmingham Mail.
Akpom was on loan at Bruce’s former club Hull City last season where he scored seven times for the Tigers as they were promoted to the Premier League.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger still has high hopes for the striker and was considering using him in cup games this season before he picked up an injury.
The setback thwarted his progress but he is now fit and ready to make up for lost time with a loan move on the cards this month.
